Way to go,save the net

From Free Press Action Fund:

It took only two weeks.

In that brief span of time, more than 1 million people (including you!) called on the Federal Communications Commission to protect the open Internet after a federal court overturned its Net Neutrality rules.

As our way of saying thanks for all your support, we want to give you this free Net Neutrality sticker.

We know that getting the FCC to act won’t be easy, but here’s the deal: We need to convince just five people (the FCC commissioners) to make this a reality. And with more than 1 million people on our side — plus a growing number of organizations and companies — the odds are in our favor.

And the pressure is working. After we brought your signature to the FCC, Chairman Wheeler told the press, “A million people? That’s boffo.” (Yeah, we had to look up “boffo” too ... it means “extremely good or successful”).

Wheeler also had this to say: “One of the great things about what the Internet does and why it needs to stay open, it enables people to organize and express themselves.” So he’s listening — but this means the phone and cable companies are too.

To win, we’ll have to get even louder. We got a million people on our side in two weeks. Imagine what we could pull off in a month ...

We hope you’ll start by grabbing this free Net Neutrality sticker to show your love for the Internet to the world (and tell your friends — we can hook them up, too). Let’s plaster the nation with this simple message: Save the Internet.

Thanks for everything and keep up the good work!

You’re truly one in a million—

P.S. Ever wondered what a million signatures look like? We made this video of the delivery so you could see.

P.P.S. Don't miss out on your very own Net Neutrality sticker.
