Public Advocate on Boehner's departure

House Speaker John Boehner is quitting at the end of October thanks to your efforts.

He's not just resigning as Speaker, but he will be leaving Congress altogether.

This comes just two days after I delivered over 25,000 Public Advocate petitions to House members demanding they vote to remove Boehner as Speaker of the House.

Boehner and Congress heard your message.

Public Advocate was the leading pro-Family organization mobilizing supporters after Rep. Mark Meadows filed a "Motion to Vacate" Boehner from the Speaker's chair in late July.

And your support was a major contribution to this victory.

While others took Congress' summer recess off in August...

My staff and I at Public Advocate put in long hours perfecting our proven grassroots strategy to deliver this victory.

But like previous Public Advocate victories, it came with a cost.

You see, Public Advocate invested a significant amount of financial support into contacting and collecting petition signatures from thousands of pro-Family Americans to "Fire Boehner."

And without additional funding, I'm afraid Boehner's Lieutenant and Majority Leader, Kevin McCarthy, will assume the Speaker's role.

You may remember McCarthy's refusal to bring Rep. Raul Labrador's First Amendment Defense Act to the floor for a vote.

We simply cannot afford another weak-kneed Speaker of the House.

Not only will Public Advocate need to continue to mobilize supporters to make sure Congress elects pro-Family leadership…

But we need to watch out for Boehner's revenge too.

As a lame duck, I'm afraid Boehner may sneak through several bills at the demand of the radical Homosexual Lobby and Boehner's spite.

The newest version of the Gay Bill of Special Rights (H.R. 3185) and the Homosexual Classrooms Act (H.R. 846) could very well pass the House before Boehner resigns in October.

That's why I'm counting on to chip in $10 or $25 right away to help fund Public Advocate's next victory.

It's crucial Public Advocate receives the necessary funds to thwart a lame duck Speaker from selling out to the radical Homosexual Lobby.

In fact, just today I've seen several emails from radical homosexual groups plotting their response.

I am exhausted from repeated trips to D.C. delivering petitions, lobbying Congressmen and organizing protests against Boehner.

But I'm revitalized by the thousands of pro-Family Americans like you who helped shock the political establishment with this victory.

I've put my staff on high alert so we can act immediately should Boehner and the Homosexual Lobby try to sneak these bills into law.

Additionally, we're developing plans to identify and support a pro-Family champion's bid for Speaker should one run.

But we won't be able to repeat this victory unless our grassroots funding account is replenished immediately.

P.S. House Speaker John Boehner is giving up! He doesn't have the votes to remain Speaker thanks to Public Advocate supporters pressuring Congress, and is quitting at the end of October.

But with this victory comes a warning. I'm afraid Boehner and the radical Homosexual Lobby may be plotting to ram through the Gay Bill of Special Rights and the Homosexual Classrooms act next month.
