Terry McAuliffe the next vice president?

A week from today, voters may elect the next Vice President of the United States.

Let me explain:

Polls have liberal Democrat Terry McAuliffe leading the race for Governor of Virginia and he's ahead in early voting. If the trend holds and he wins the election next Tuesday, it'll be a double victory for the longtime Bill and Hillary Clinton friend and advisor.

You see, Democrat insiders are already whispering about Clinton-McAuliffe 2016.

McAuliffe raised millions of dollars for Bill's re-election in 1996, he raised millions more for the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005, and he served as Hillary's 2008 campaign chairman. McAuliffe and Hillary are good personal friends, their hyper-liberal politics blend well together, and he's a prolific fundraiser in his own rights.

There's no doubt in my mind Terry McAuliffe will be Hillary's running mate if he wins next Tuesday. That means you and I have our work cut out for us over the next 7 days.

She also held a massive campaign rally in Virginia for Women for Terry. Meanwhile, Bill is currently on the road with McAuliffe for a four-day swing through Virginia courting voters.

Insiders say that by Election Day, the Clintons will have held at least a dozen events on behalf of McAuliffe.

That's a little over the top for the Former President and Secretary of State to be so involved in an off-year gubernatorial election...leaving little question that the Clintons know this is the first real battle of Hillary's presidential campaign.
