Recently, Campaign for Liberty President John Tate and I went over the results of the November elections and looked ahead to Campaign for Liberty's strategy for the upcoming year.

This may have been the most important meeting I’ve ever held as Chairman of Campaign for Liberty.

Right now, you and I are facing the biggest test – and perhaps the greatest opportunity - our liberty movement has seen yet.

I’ll be blunt. I need your advice – and I need it right away.

There’s no doubt the American people have soundly rejected the Big Government policies you and I have seen coming out of Washington, D.C. over the past several years.

Now, will newly elected members of Congress deliver on their promises?

Or will they hand us more of the same Big Government schemes we’ve seen from BOTH parties?

You see, my hope is Senator-elect Steve Daines (R-MT) will join proven heroes such as Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee in the U.S. Senate, and Congressmen-elect Alex Mooney (R-WV) and Rod Blum (R-IA) will join with Congressmen Thomas Massie and Justin Amash in the U.S. House!

But today, I need you to use your Membership Ballot to tell me where Campaign for Liberty should focus its resources for the upcoming Congress.

There’s no doubt the biggest development for you and me in the 2014 election was Senator Harry Reid being FIRED as the U.S. Senate’s Majority Leader.

During his tenure as Majority Leader, Senator Reid has flat-out REFUSED to allow a vote on Audit the Fed – even after it passed the U.S. House with HUGE bipartisan majorities in both 2012 and 2014.

With polls showing nearly 75% of the American people supporting Fed transparency, I warned this amounted to nothing less than political suicide.

Senator Reid finally paid a price in 2014, and as a result, even The Wall Street Journal is saying, “GOP Senate Takeover Puts Fed on Hot Seat”!

That’s why you and I must start mobilizing a tidal wave of pressure on the U.S. Senate right from the start of the 114th Congress.

By passing Audit the Fed, we can show the American people that the Federal Reserve System leads to:

*** Ever-expanding Big Government boondoggles like “ObamaCare.”

Now that politicians have figured out the Fed will just print money out of thin air to pay the bills if taxing and borrowing can’t make ends meet, the floodgates are wide open for even more of the statists’ utopian plans;

*** Constant economic crises.

The housing crisis and the resulting chaos is just one example of an economic bubble created by centrally planned interest rates and money manipulation;

*** The destruction of the middle class.

As fuel, food, housing, medical care, and education costs soar, everyone who is NOT on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of their money sinks;

*** Currency destruction.

History shows us that riots, violence, and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize their money isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on and REFUSE to accept it.

Just forcing a vote puts you and me in a win/win situation.

Either Congress passes Audit the Fed, or those who vote against it will pay the price in the next election.

Not only that, but our all-out mobilization efforts can help force the Federal Reserve issue to the forefront of the 2016 presidential campaign!

This cycle can’t go on forever. If you and I don’t right the ship, I’m afraid every last shred of American wealth will be wiped out as the Federal Reserve and big-spending politicians finish destroying what’s left of our economy.

That means FORCING Congress to cut spending. This is always the first place new members of Congress break their campaign promises.

Instead of cutting spending, they look for new ways to tax and regulate us – like they’re doing with the Internet right now!

That’s why it’s up to you and me to ensure they don’t get away with betraying us this time.

But before you do, please consider what’s at stake with President Obama’s out-of-control government spying.

As I’ve warned about for decades, last year, we learned the NSA is busy gathering audio, video, email, photographic, and Internet search usage of ALL Americans who use major services such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Yahoo.

In one 30-day period, the NSA collected three BILLION pieces of “intelligence” from U.S. computer networks!

The “Stasi” – the East German Communist secret police of decades past – could only wish to be so efficient in their record-keeping on “problem citizens.”

Back then, our federal government decried those tactics as “Orwellian.” Now it’s adopting them, and the statists simply tell you and me to “trust” them!

How can we after they’ve lied to us time and again, sunk our nation into massive debt, and used the IRS to target political opponents?

I know they say it’s all “for security.”

Well, there’s no security like prison walls. And I’m afraid that’s exactly what we’re seeing being built around us every day.

So if you think reining in the out-of-control NSA should be our top priority, please select END GOVERNMENT SPYING on your Membership Ballot.

But don’t forget about ObamaCare. As a former OB-GYN, I want so badly to wipe this outrageous scheme off the books!

But I know the longer it remains in place, the longer it will take to repeal.

The good news is the American people are FED UP with the higher taxes and fees, the poorer quality health care, cancelled policies, and skyrocketing premiums.

During the election season, you and I heard a lot of talk about repealing ObamaCare.

Now, it’s time for Congress to deliver.

That’s why I believe Congress should pass the End the Mandate bill I introduced back in 2010. Under this legislation, the federal mandate to buy health insurance is simply repealed.

Force is the basis of all statist schemes. And without this mandate, all of ObamaCare unravels.

So if you think this should be our top priority, please select END THE MANDATE on your Membership Ballot.

As you’ll see, there are no easy choices.

Our country is on the brink, and I’m afraid the only way to bring it back is to fight harder than we ever have before.
