Meet the new boss same as the old boss

The word "exploitation" is thrown around a lot in our society. Exploitation of the workers,of the masses,of various groups. One form of exploitation is when older people entice the younger generation to be their foot soldiers. To do their dirty work for them. We've seen this in the '70's with the establishment exploiting young men through the draft to kill or be killed in the Viet Nam War. A lot of young men also noticed it and brought it forefront for the American people to understand it and combat it. Today it is a different establishment playing the role of puppet master but they are yielding the same bloody results. Back then it was big business tycoons and other corporate elites that were pulling the strings. Pulling the strings in favor of them and their stockholders. Today it is college and university professors and other left wing members of the faculty that are the exploiters. It is very easy to accomplish now that the unions control the educational system and how the left owns the unions. What passes for "education" these days is a mockery of the word and definition. I would use the term "indoctrinate". This indoctrination doesn't start on the first day of their college classes. It starts on the first day of their kindergarten class. From K-12 and beyond the left has brainwashed your children. The left is also creating an army of their own. Of ruthless thugs that use Stalinistic methods of terror to achieve their goals. Their army is called "antifa". They pride themselves on being "anti-fascists". They can take pride in knowing they are just as vicious as those they claim to hate. If not more so. In the U.S. military honor and respect for the law are prized. With antifa they are despised. With the U.S. military the United States Constitution and the American Revolution are the guiding principles. With antifa Das Kapital and the communist revolution are the only things that matter. We've seen that evil intent,regardless of political affiliation,can wreck damage,perhaps extensive,throughout society. IOW the more things change the more they stay the same.

Defeat Obama's court-packing scheme

From The National Right To Work Committee:

Your pressure is working.

This week, as your faxed petitions and phone calls poured into Senate offices, the Senate Republican Minority -- minus Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine -- held firm and voted not to cut off debate on the second of Barack Obama's three nominees to pack the nation's second most powerful court.

I'm hopeful if we keep up the pressure, we'll defeat Barack Obama's court-packing scheme.

But the threats to break the Senate rules and gut the filibuster are growing.

"I think we're at the point where there will have to be a rules change," union-label Senator Patrick Leahy fumed after the most recent vote.

Big Labor ally Senator Dianne Feinstein added, "I've always thought that a president deserved his team."

That's precisely what's at stake -- judges aren't a part of the President's "team".

While the President is entitled to nominate judges, it is the Senate's duty to review those nominations and ensure the integrity and independence of the courts.

Make no mistake, this is all about Barack Obama seeking revenge against the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals for rebuking his unconstitutional "recess" appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

The constitutional separation of powers cannot survive long if a President -- any President -- is allowed to go on a court-packing binge any time he doesn't like one of the Court's decisions.

With a third vote looming, we must keep the heat on the entire U.S. Senate, especially if Harry Reid renews his threats to gut the filibuster.

Remember, once they gut the filibuster for judicial nominations, it's only a matter of time before they try to end minority rights in the Senate for good by gutting the filibuster for all legislation, paving the way to ram through Big Labor's wishlist of power grabs.

Card Check Forced Unionism. Police/Fire Monopoly Bargaining. Eliminating all state Right to Work laws at once by repealing Section 14(b) of the Taft-Hartley Act.

The Obama Administration has done enough damage to worker freedom through the federal bureaucracy.

The courts have stopped some of those forced-unionism power grabs. That will get even harder if Big Labor apologists take over the courts too.

Tell Senate not to vote in favor of corrupt union representative

Tomorrow, union-label Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a cloture vote on the nomination of corrupt union lawyer Richard Griffin to be the chief lawyer at the National Labor Relations Board.

With the vote just one day away, it's critical that concerned citizens like you turn up the heat on your U.S. Senators IMMEDIATELY.

My staff is faxing in tens of thousands of petitions opposing the confirmation of the radical union lawyer -- and more petitions keep coming in.

But I'm afraid that won't be enough.

Let me remind you what's at stake.

As you may recall, over the summer a handful of Republican Senators joined every Democrat to let Barack Obama pack the labor board with union militants literally and publicly chosen by AFL-CIO czar Richard Trumka.

The ONLY thing those Republicans got out of the "deal" was that Obama would not re-nominate Richard Griffin and Sharon Block to be members of the Board.

So what did Obama do?

He nominated Griffin for a different job at the Board -- the General Counsel -- the office in charge of prosecuting unfair labor practices by both unions and management.

It is hard to imagine a worse nominee.

Griffin is currently being investigated for attempting to cover up embezzlement at the International Union of Operating Engineers by firing employees who tried to expose the crime.

It's outrageous that someone under investigation for such a crime would even be considered for a position with all of the power associated with the General Counsel position.

Will the Republicans play dead again?

It's vital you e-mail your U.S. Senators, urging them to vote against cloture on Richard Griffin for General Counsel on the NLRB.

As I said, Harry Reid has already scheduled the cloture vote for tomorrow.

Grassroots pressure from concerned Americans like you, demanding a filibuster against Big Labor power grabs, stopped Harry Reid from shoving Card Check down our throats.

Once again, America needs strong and principled citizens like you to fight back and urge Senate Republicans not to cut another bad deal with Harry Reid.

As you probably know, the position of General Counsel comes with great power. When this power ends up in the hands of a Big Labor partisan, the results can be tyrannical.

And we don't have to look far for an example.

This type of tyranny has been painfully clear under the NLRB's current acting General Counsel, Lafe Solomon.

When Boeing decided to open a plant manufacturing its newest airplane in Right-to-Work South Carolina, it was Solomon that launched a lawsuit against the company for the sole reason the new plant was in a Right to Work state!

The NLRB's job is to be an impartial arbiter between unions and management. But Lafe Solomon, as a General Counsel with an axe to grind, abused that power to coerce Boeing -- and other companies through intimidation -- to open their factories in forced-unionism states!

Having Solomon as General Counsel has turned the NLRB into something it was never intended to be -- an activist agency for Big Labor.

Even the most basic background check is enough to show anyone that Richard Griffin would be even more biased.

Ten members of the local 501 IUOE in Los Angeles have claimed in a corruption lawsuit that Griffin was a constant participant in a conspiracy to manipulate Local 501 through a pattern of racketeering. The lawsuit specifically states that Griffin made threats in an attempt to cover up the embezzlement.

If Griffin is willing to illegally silence employees to protect Big Labor's unlawful practices, as he's accused of doing, how much worse will he be as the officer in charge of prosecuting unfair labor practices?

It's like making a known drug kingpin the head of the Drug Enforcement Agency.

The NLRB is supposed to be a quasi-judicial, independent agency, staffed with people who can interpret the law and deal with cases honestly and fairly.

Richard Griffin doesn't even come close to meeting that standard. Freedom, justice and basic common sense all dictate that your Senators oppose this nomination.

For all of these reasons it is vital you e-mail your U.S. Senators to vote against cloture on the nomination of Richard Griffin.

Protect non-union workers from union violence

In a few minutes I'll be heading over to the AFL-CIO headquarters.

As we enter Labor Day weekend, I can think of no better way to spend it than by remembering the suffering of the tens of thousands of victims of Big Labor's violence and intimidation.

For decades, honest men and women, merely trying to work and feed their families, have been the victims of union thuggery.

I'm going to celebrate this Labor Day by lighting a candle for those victims.

In 1973 the U.S. Supreme Court, in its infamous Enmons decision, ruled that union bosses were exempt from federal prosecution for coordinating campaigns of violence and extortion in pursuit of "legitimate union objectives."

As if any "objective" could legitimize vandalism, arson, battery, and murder.

But union bosses continue to claim that immunity regularly.

Obama appointee goes before the Senate

Democrats on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee were prepared yesterday to rubber-stamp Barack Obama's biased, pro-Big Labor nominee to head the Department of Labor. Fortunately, Senate Republicans, having heard the concerns of Right to Work supporters like you, invoked a little-used procedural maneuver to delay the vote again.

The Senate Committee is now scheduled to advance the Perez nomination next week. That gives us a little more time, but when Harry Reid and Tom Harkin move on this next week, they're likely to move very quickly. I need your help at once to stop it. A Republican-led filibuster is possible, but only if they're encouraged by a firestorm of grassroots opposition to Perez. Tens of thousands of Right to Work supporters have already authorized their free fax petitions urging their U.S. Senators to oppose the Perez nomination, but more are needed.

If you haven't already, please click here right away to urge your U.S. Senators to vote AGAINST the confirmation of Thomas Perez. You see, the stakes couldn't get any higher, especially after the war on worker freedom and the free enterprise system waged by Obama's Department of Labor so far:

*** Slashing the budget of the Office of Labor Management Standards, the federal agency that enforces union disclosure laws and serves as a watchdog against union-boss corruption;

*** Gutting transparency standards to make it more difficult for workers to learn how union bosses are really spending the forced dues seized from their paychecks;

*** Refusing to enforce anti-kickback provisions, allowing workers' wages to be kicked back to employers in union-sponsored job target funds. That's just scratching the surface.

Now Obama is eager to pay back his union-boss benefactors with more sweetheart deals and special privileges after Big Labor unleashed another Billion Dollar political spending blitz in 2012 to re-elect Barack Obama and other forced-unionism partisans.

And the union bosses know they have their man in Thomas Perez:

*** As Maryland's Secretary of Labor, Thomas Perez greased the skids to more easily force unionization on childcare providers.

That scheme mirrors Big Labor's nationwide strategy to force in-home care providers -- even parents, grandparents, and babysitters who take care of sick and disabled children with state assistance -- into dues-paying ranks.

*** Perez repeatedly tapped into the Big Labor well to fill political appointments.

In fact, Perez even gave a political appointment to a former organizer from the Laborers International Union of North America, an organization the Department of Labor Inspector General's racketeering section considered corrupt.

*** While on the Montgomery County Council, Perez allegedly used his position to influence, intimidate and pressure employers on behalf of Communications Workers of America union officials.

Attempting to justify those tactics, Perez made the offensive and derogatory comment that unionized workers "would be more productive, more motivated and more loyal" than non-union workers. The more than 93 percent of American private-sector workers free from union control don't need that kind of bias at the Department of Labor. Not only that, our economy just can't afford it.

That's why we must send a strong message against expanding forced unionism. So please, authorize your free action fax to your U.S. Senators insisting they oppose Perez's nomination. With the next action on the nomination next week, it's vital we turn up the heat before it's too late.
