The response to our suggestion that Congressman Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) run to replace retiring Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) has been overwhelming.

Tell Obama not to raise the debt ceiling

Seventeen trillion. It’s a ticking time bomb.
As I write you today, that's how much taxpayers are on the line for to feed the tax-and-spend addiction of lawmakers in Washington.
But how would you feel if I told you that all we're doing is whittling away at the interest that our national debt is accruing?
In the last fiscal year we've accrued more than 395.8 billion dollars in additional debt in interest alone.
And that's with an artificially low effective interest rate of 2.4%.
But what is President Obama’s solution to this growing behemoth?
Raise the debt ceiling so we can afford to make our interest payments.
I don't know about you, but I've never found that raising my credit limit just to pay my interest has ever worked long-term when handling my own debt.
But for tax-and-spend lawmakers the prospect of raising the debt ceiling to pile onto our already sky high debt seems to make them almost giddy.
Under the Obama administration, Congress has already raised the debt ceiling SEVEN times.
And now they want to go for eight.
And for what? So we can continue racking up massive amounts of debt for the ever-expanding government programs?
So we can tax our way into oblivion?
That's why it is so important that we hold the line against any new debt ceiling increase.

Union thugs put child at risk

I can't tell you how much it angers me to even have to write those disgusting words.
So when Illinois mom Pam Harris first told Foundation attorneys exactly what the union bosses were scheming to do to her and her family in 2011, I didn't hesitate to offer free legal aid.
But now, with only five days left until Foundation Staff Attorney William Messenger argues before the United States Supreme Court, I MUST ask for your generous tax-deductible support right away.

But I can tell you the union bosses are shaking in their boots about the possible ramifications of this Supreme Court fight!
You see, the Pam Harris case started in 2009 when disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich issued an Executive Order handing his Big Labor buddies a windfall, expanding their monopoly bargaining powers over home healthcare workers.
That Executive Order was expanded by Governor Pat Quinn two years later, ultimately classifying Pam Harris and thousands of others just like her all across Illinois as state employees who can be required to pay union dues or fees.
But Pam Harris isn't a state employee.
She's a stay-at-home mom taking care of her son, Josh, who requires 24/7 care due to his rare Rubenstein-Taybi condition.
As part of a state Medicaid program, she receives financial support to care for her son.
Now, the union bosses say that means she should be forced to accept Big Labor lobbying as her voice at the state capitol and pay forced dues!
Mrs. Harris has stated time and again her main concern is Big Labor suddenly stepping in and telling her how to care for her son.
I don't know about you, but I can't imagine Big Labor's work rules in that environment.
And the audacity for Big Labor to claim that moms should be forced to pay union dues just to take care of their kids is shocking to me!
But worse, it's all being done in the mad rush for money and power.

In fact, home healthcare workers represent roughly one-third of the SEIU's total membership.
And with large segments of the U.S. population aging, the demand for home healthcare workers is expected to dramatically increase by nearly 70% by 2020!
According to the Wall Street Journal, 75% of these workers will be taking care of a family member or friend!
Yet Big Labor wants every one of these workers to pay up for the "privilege."

Public Advocate protests Terry McAuliffe's inauguration
From Public Advocate:
Public Advocate caused major headlines in Virginia this week with our program to expose new governor Terry McAuliffe’s anti-Family agenda.
Last Saturday, Public Advocate took to the streets to protest at the inauguration of Virginia’s new governor.
And the whole state took notice of our pro-Family challenge.
Our dedicated volunteers turned out despite the torrential rains to support real marriage and family values.
You see, Governor McAuliffe has said he wants to overturn Virginia’s real marriage law in favor of “homosexual marriage.”
He also quietly promised the Homosexual Lobby that he would sign an executive order bringing the Gay Bill of Special Rights to this pro-Family state.
This executive order bypasses the legislature and gives homosexuals and transsexuals preferential employment status and protections.
But despite all the warning signs, Public Advocate was the only pro-Family organization to show up to protest.
As McAuliffe’s guests lined up for the event, our volunteers waved signs and handed out inaugural badges supporting real marriage.

Our brave group called out Governor McAuliffe's anti-Family threats against laws defending real marriage.
We showed state leaders that Public Advocate and the pro-Family Movement are a force to be reckoned with.
We also caught the attention of the local news, and as you can see, I was being interviewed here.
Public Advocate has earned the distinction of leading the very first protest against Virginia’s new governor for his anti-Family stance.
Numerous radio stations, blogs and even the local CBS station reported on our protest.
And the governor’s bureaucrats have already taken an interest in Public Advocate, asking for our documentation for the first time ever.
We believe it is the result of our proper and legal actions during the inauguration.
Of course, McAuliffe will be hearing a lot more from Public Advocate in the future.
As we warned, McAuliffe did sign the Gay Bill of Special Rights executive order before the day was over.
Public Advocate works both on the national level and in select state fights.
The Homosexual Lobby is relentlessly attacking on both fronts, and so we have to be prepared to defend both fronts.
But this street protest would not have been possible without your support and the support of thousands of other Americans.
The organization, transportation and materials -- none of it would have happened without generous donations.
