Urge the Senate not to confirm a Supreme Court nominee

From Freedom Works:

Justice Antonin Scalia was a champion of freedom and the Constitution. He dedicated his life to protecting your rights and the Founders’ vision for the country. His intellect and devotion to the Constitution were truly awe-inspiring. And for that we are forever in his debt.

But Obama has already announced that he plans to change all of that. The most important thing you and I can do to celebrate Justice Scalia's life and accomplishments is to protect his remarkable legacy. That's why I’m asking you to sign our petition to tell the Senate to block any Supreme Court nominee while Obama is in office.

Obama’s got less than a year to finish his “fundamental transformation” of America, and filling Justice Scalia’s seat with a radical liberal would complete it. And if that happens, we’d lose every major case heard by the Court for decades to come. The Constitution would be ripped to shreds and our freedoms would vanish into thin air. That’s why it’s crucial that you sign our petition to tell the Senate to stop Obama’s Supreme Court scheme.

It’s up to you to keep freedom working on the Supreme Court.

For Freedom,

Say anything anti-islamic and go to jail

That's right. If H.Res 569 becomes law anyone criticizing muslims are going to jail. Nevermind the First Amendment nevermind the Constitution only Sharia matters. Western values are gone. Democracy is dying. What are you going to do about it? If you are one of the sheep do nothing. It looks like the democrats are the sponsors of this bill. Like I said if you don't care do nothing, live under Sharia. If you do care then contact your representative and tell them to oppose H.Res 569. Do it before this becomes the law of the land and we still have a choice in the matter.

The Time Warner merger with Charter Communications will destroy competition

From Open Media:

Big Telecom is trying to get even bigger… and customers will pay the price. Charter Communications, America’s third-biggest cable company, wants to take over Time Warner Cable, the second-largest.

If this $90 billion deal is approved by the FCC, "Mega Charter" and Comcast together would control the telecom connections to nearly 8 out of every 10 U.S. homes.

Let that sink in: two cable companies, wielding monopolistic control over your Internet service.

If they succeed, they’ll be able to raise your cable bill even higher, because you’ll have nowhere else to turn. We can't let this happen. To fight back, your OpenMedia team has joined forces with our friends at Demand Progress (and others!) to stop this.

You probably haven't heard a lot of talk of this deal, which pleases Charter.

Charter saw how spectacularly Comcast failed at their attempt to takeover Time Warner, and so they're pulling out all the stops to sell a pretty picture to decision-makers at the FCC.1

That's all well and good until you look a little closer. Existing Time Warner Cable customers would have to shell out more for the kind of broadband plans that Charter provides.

And the staggering debt that Mega Charter would take on to acquire Time Warner Cable is troubling if they're really committed to the high costs of building more broadband in rural areas.

Big Cable has repeatedly shown they can't be trusted, because they don't have to win your trust when they corner the market in your community. Tell the FCC to stand with Internet customers and oppose this deal. (We'll also forward your comment to the Senate.)

The truth is that in the long run, this merger will leave people like you with the cost — making our bills go up, flattening the quality of service, and fattening the pockets of people like Charter's Thomas Rutledge and Time Warner Cable's Robert D. Marcus — both of whom would receive more than $100 million in golden parachutes and payouts.2

Malone knows how to close a cable company merger, and he has the influence and money to do it.3

We've got to show the FCC that they must oppose this merger if they want to cement a legacy of broadband access and competition. Will you send a comment to the FCC today?

Together, we can stop Big Cable from getting even bigger.

Thanks.

Don't let Obama gut right to work laws

From The National Right To Work Committee:

Just last week, West Virginia became the fourth state in four years to adopt Right to Work. The worker freedom movement is growing, and momentum is on our side.

But the lawyers on Barack Obama's National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) are taking revenge with a scheme to gut all 26 state Right to Work laws.

From the outrageous persecution of Boeing for creating jobs in Right to Work South Carolina to ambushing workers with quick-snap unionization elections, the Obama Labor Board has rammed through one union-boss power grab after another.

I've been warning concerned citizens like you for two years that the worst may be yet to come, now that Barack Obama is no longer accountable to the American people.

Thanks to the surrender of a few short-sighted Republicans in the U.S. Senate in 2013, Barack Obama has a fully-stocked NLRB stacked with a gaggle of union lawyers to do Big Labor's bidding.

And now the Obama Labor Board is seizing that opportunity and preparing to overturn more than 60 years of precedent and ignore the plain language of federal and state law.

This means all the strides the Right to Work movement has made to free workers in 26 states could go up in flames!

Now has never been a more important time to go on the OFFENSE and take the fight directly to Big Labor and their cohorts on Capitol Hill.

It's vital your Committee has the resources to force a roll-call vote on the National Right to Work Act.

An up-or-down vote in Congress will let the American people know who stands with us -- and who stands with Obama and his stacked National Labor Relations Board on opposing the issue of worker freedom.

But the deadline is Thursday at midnight.

That's why I urgently need you to chip in $50 to our Cosponsor Push program right away.

Our cosponsor targets will be flooded with the voices of thousands of pro-worker freedom Americans like you, urging them to add their names to the National Right to Work Act.

The Cosponsor Push plan includes:

>>>An expanded email, direct mail, and telephone campaign urging constituents to contact their congressmen and U.S. Senators.

>>>Targeted Facebook, Youtube and Google ads in select target districts.

>>>Delivery of additional petitions collected from you and your fellow Right to Work supporters.

Your Committee is throwing everything we have to force a roll-call vote on the National Right to Work Act.

With everything at stake, you and I cannot hold back.

You know the Union Bosses and Obama's Labor Board won't.

That's why your Committee absolutely must raise $40,000 by February 18th to flood the halls of Congress with hundreds of thousands of petitions, emails and phone calls.

And I need your help to make it happen. Will you chip in $50?

If $50 is just too much, please consider chipping in with a gift of $25 or even $10.

You and I cannot afford to let this opportunity slip through our fingers.

With the Obama Labor Board working to undercut the 25 current Right to Work states and force nonmembers to give up a portion of their paycheck, now is the time to know which legislators stand with you and me -- and the nearly 80% of Americans who support worker freedom.

Just think of the price the union bosses and their allies will pay once the American people focus on the fact that:

***Millions of workers are forced to pay tribute to a union boss just to keep their jobs -- money they earn to feed their families, educate their children and support their churches and communities;

***Big Labor’s power is deadly to millions of small businesses. Union-label politicians and Obama-stacked bureaucracies strangle businesses with confiscatory taxes, straitjacket regulations and destructive laws, damaging our economy and driving good jobs overseas -- or out of existence;

***Billions of forced-dues dollars bankroll radical, tax-and-spend politicians like Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, resulting in out-of-control spending and skyrocketing debt; and

***Union toughs terrorize workers and communities with violent strikes -- where they get away with beatings, arson -- even murder.

This rampant abuse of power needs to be stopped.

And with the Obama Labor Board working to gut and destroy the laws in 26 current Right to Work states, there has never been a more important time than now to force a roll-call vote on the National Right to Work Act.

Having droves of Senators sign on as National Right to Work Act cosponsors will prove to forced-dues partisans in Congress and the Obama Labor Board that they won’t get away with trying to KILL Right to Work.

But it’s up to you and me to make sure the union bosses’ pals in Congress don’t wiggle off the hook.

So please act TODAY!

The deadline is Thursday at midnight. Please act at once.

For Worker Freedom,

Mark Mix
President

P.S. Obama Labor Board is seizing that opportunity and preparing to overturn more than 60 years of precedent and ignore the plain language of federal and state law.

This means all the strides the Right to Work movement has made to free workers in 26 states could go up in flames!

It's vital your Committee has the resources to force a roll-call vote on the National Right to Work Act.

An up-or-down vote in Congress will let the American people know who stands with us -- and who opposes the issue of worker freedom.

Make Senator Mitch McConnell keep his word on Supreme Court replacement

From Freedom Works:

Instead of allowing the nation to mourn Justice Scalia’s passing, Obama was already in front of the cameras demanding the Senate confirm whatever liberal justice he nominates. This is wrong, and it proves how desperate he is to pack the court with more liberal justices. Tell Mitch McConnell to keep his promise and block any Supreme Court nominee while Obama is in office.

Another liberal on the Court, would complete Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of America. We would lose every major case heard by the Court for years to come. You can’t let that happen, the Constitution simply can’t afford it. That’s why it’s so crucial that you contact Mitch McConnell today and tell him to block any Supreme Court nominee while Obama is in office.

It’s up to you to keep freedom working on the Supreme Court.

Preserve Net Neutrality oppose zero rating

From CREDO:

The Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Net Neutrality rules are less than a year old, but some companies are already coming up with creative ways to sneak past them.

Some of the same companies that fought Net Neutrality now offer programs that exempt some services, but not others, from monthly caps on their customers’ broadband Internet usage.

These are backdoor attempts to undermine Net Neutrality by giving preference to some sources of content over others. The FCC needs to step in now and put a stop to them.

Tell the Federal Communications Commission: Stop the sneak attack on Net Neutrality. Click here to sign the petition.

Companies like AT&T,1 T-Mobile,2 Verizon3 and Comcast4 have all recently introduced programs that favor some online services over others by exempting them from their customers’ monthly data caps, a practice known as zero-rating. By discriminating against sources of content that aren’t exempted, zero-rating jeopardizes the free and open nature of the Internet.

Zero-rating isn’t just a threat to Net Neutrality in the United States. Just this week, India banned zero-rating after a long battle with Facebook over the company's efforts to provide free access to Facebook.com and a small selection of other websites, which would have severely limited the Internet experience of hundreds of millions of people.5

Zero-rating gives a small number of companies too much power to shape the Internet that is available to users, and it discourages innovation by making it more difficult for smaller players in the market to compete.

The FCC is looking into concerns about zero-rating right now and has requested information from some of the companies employing the practice,6 but it hasn’t yet taken action to stop to zero-rating. It took millions of us speaking out to win Net Neutrality protections. We can’t afford to let corporations use zero-rating to undermine them.

Tell the Federal Communications Commission: Don’t let corporations undermine Net Neutrality. Click here to sign the petition.

Persuade Marco Rubio to support traditional marriage

From Public Advocate:

(Public Advocate Signs Causing A Stir At A Marco Rubio Event)

I want to wish you a very happy and special Valentine's Day.

Just last weekend, I welcomed the radical Homosexual Lobby's special Valentine -- Senator Marco Rubio -- to New Hampshire.

You see, for weeks Public Advocate has been exposing Rubio's ties to a billionaire pro-Homosexual Lobby donor and urging pro-Family Americans to encourage Rubio to cut ties with the donor.

But Rubio's refusal to return homosexual "marriage" activist and billionaire Paul Singer's massive financial contribution is just the tip of the iceberg.

It was reported just a few days ago that Rubio's deputy campaign manager, Rich Beeson, signed a writ of certiorari encouraging the U.S. Supreme Court to legalize homosexual "marriage."

Rubio's decision to hire a deputy campaign manager who directly helped usher in homosexual "marriage" concerns me.

Senator Marco Rubio could easily repudiate the radical Homosexual Lobby and go on the record for supporting Traditional Values by filling out and returning his Public Advocate presidential survey.

But he continues to ignore the calls from thousands of pro-Family Americans instead.

That's why I hope you chip in $10 or $25 to help Public Advocate mobilize thousands of pro-Family Americans to call on Rubio -- and ALL the presidential candidates -- to return their surveys.

You and I both saw the impact of our grassroots program in Iowa.

We exposed Hillary Clinton's betrayal of Traditional Values to thousands of pro-Family Americans.

We even pressured one presidential candidate into publicly supporting Real Marriage.

Within just a day of running our Facebook and Google ads exposing candidates for not filling out their surveys, Donald Trump came out swinging against homosexual "marriage."

Trump attacked the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to override the authority of the states on the issue of Real Marriage.

And he said that a Trump presidency would allow him to appoint judges who "think differently" than those that ruled against Real Marriage.

When pressed, he indicated that he would nominate judges who supported restoring Real Marriage laws in America.

And last fall, when Public Advocate launched our "Stop the Gender Insanity" program, presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz bluntly called transgenderism "lunacy."

These are not merely coincidences.

It's a direct result of your support and Public Advocate's tactics.

So please, help us keep the pro-Family pressure on these presidential candidates by chipping in $10 or $25 right away.

Thank you for all that you do!

For the Family,

HON. EUGENE DELGAUDIO
President, Public Advocate of the United States

P.S. I just got back from New Hampshire where I continued to expose presidential candidates for refusing to stand for Traditional Values.

Help me keep the pressure on until they fill out their Public Advocate surveys and continue fueling our grassroots campaign by chipping in $10 or $25 immediately.
