Now a word from Comcast
From Fight For The Future:
We’ve all come to expect the worst from Comcast and their ilk, but this is just over the top.
Last week, media reports exposed the fact that thousands “anti-net neutrality” emails sent to lawmakers came from a shadowy Koch-funded group that’s now being accused of “identity theft” for sending emails from people who had never signed up to oppose net neutrality. 1
If you think that’s bad, just wait. This morning, the New York times revealed that Comcast has been calling in favors from the many politicians, think tanks, and organizations that they “generously” donate to. Basically they’re bribing politicians and groups to send letters to Congress and the FCC in favor of Comcast’s takeover of Time Warner Cable. 2 It even looks like they straight up wrote Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel’s letter for him. 3
Money talks, and we know that Congress and the FCC will be hearing from all of Comcast’s well-paid friends. The only way to fight this is to make sure that the decision makers hear from hundreds of thousands of REAL people like you right now.
The deadline is approaching!
The Comcast / Time Warner merger is one of the worst possible things that could happen to the open Internet. It would combine the two largest, most hated cable companies into a single, massive monopoly with control over more than half the country's Internet users.
With Team Cable using shady tactic after shady tactic, we can’t let up for a second, and we definitely can’t let a company like Comcast get even bigger.
More than 700,000 people have already taken action to demand that Congress and the FCC block the merger -- but there’s a vote coming up and in light of Comcast literally buying support, we need all the signatures we can get. Plus, with all the press around the fake efforts of Comcast and their cronies, we know that breaking 1,000,000 real comments will make a splash in the media, which matters as the vote approaches.

Arizona defies the Federal Government
It’s a scary thought, but here it is: If some red states were to openly defy the authority of President Obama in the exercise of his constitutional duties, would today’s Republican Congress side with him? Or would they honor the insurrection?
I wish it could be said with confidence that the legislative branch would oppose a rebellion against the executive branch of government. But I’m not so sure.
Last month, the Republican-led Arizona House of Representatives passed, on a 36-to-24 party-line vote, a bill sponsored by tea party Rep. Bob Thorpe (R-Flagstaff) that “prohibits this state or any of its political subdivisions from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with an executive order issued by the President of the U.S. that has not been affirmed by a vote of Congress and signed into law as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.”
If adopted by the Arizona Senate and signed into law, executive orders issued by the president would have no force or effect in that state. What’s more, the Arizona House has passed a number of other bills aimed at nullifying policies, rules and regulations of the Obama administration that have not been approved by Congress.
The word “insurrection” does come to mind. Yet the resistance out West to federal authority has been received in virtual silence on Capitol Hill. It’s almost as if the GOP Congress wanted an uprising against the president.
This country has drifted far beyond the rough-and-tumble give-and-take that historically occurs between the parties. It’s one thing to oppose the president’s policies. It’s quite another to refuse to acknowledge presidential authority.
That’s what we are witnessing in the Arizona House. That’s what we also saw with the 47 Republican senators who wrote to the Iranian government, warning that Obama is seeking a nuclear agreement that won’t last beyond his administration.
Sabotaging Obama shows up in other ways.
This week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told countries involved in negotiating a U.N.-brokered international climate change agreement that they should “proceed with caution” because of intransigent opposition to Obama’s efforts to significantly scale back U.S. carbon emissions.
McConnell also seeks to undermine presidential authority here at home. In a March 3 op-ed in the Lexington Herald-Leader, McConnell told states to ignore the Environmental Protection Agency’s mandate for clean power regulations. “Think twice before submitting a state plan,” McConnell implored the states. “Hold back.”
The Arizona insurrection, the GOP senators’ attempt to undermine negotiations over a nuclear agreement, the Senate leader’s effort to rupture international climate change negotiations and his call for open defiance of federal regulations are all aimed at marginalizing Obama by rendering him powerless.
Sometimes, in their zeal, the Republicans get out of control.
Recall the March 2012 edition of the newsletter of the Republican Party of Greene County, Va., which called for an “armed revolution” if Obama won reelection that November?
There was, of course, some after-the-fact tut-tutting by Virginia GOP leaders who weren’t about to take up arms. The county’s GOP leadership, which cut loose the writer, Ponch McPhee, announced boldly, “We do not believe that if the results end up with the re-election of Barack Obama, that will necessitate what the author suggests.” Not quite a stinging denunciation, but these days the president’s supporters must take what they can get. But they, the president and the Constitution deserve more.
American history teaches that we are on a dangerous path. And history has a way of repeating itself. A little more than 150 years ago, this country experienced another bombastic phase. Hatred of a president and his government’s policies produced a bloody schism that eventually led to an accord grounded in hope but which papered over a disharmony still lingering today.
Then, as now, there was a president, Abraham Lincoln, accused by those who detested him of misusing presidential power, subverting the Constitution and trampling over states’ rights. Then, as now, that president was characterized as a ruthless tyrant bent upon destroying a superior civilization.
Then, as now, that president was portrayed as a simpleton, a buffoon and a coward.
Wisconsin newspaper editor Marcus M. Pomeroy wrote as the election of 1864 approached: “The man who votes for Lincoln now is a traitor and murderer. . . . And if he is elected to misgovern for another four years, we trust some bold hand will pierce his heart with dagger point for the public good.”

IRS wants Campaign For Liberty to disclose donor list but Campaign For Liberty refuses;support Campaign For Liberty from IRS encroachment

The battle to finally audit and EXPOSE the Federal Reserve is heating up even as I write you . . .

The last time we did this, the IRS’s response was to hit Campaign for Liberty with a massive fine (with interest increasing daily) that could have forced us to shut our doors.
But thanks to the support of patriots like you from all over the country, I stood up to them and REFUSED to hand over sensitive Campaign for Liberty contributor information.
After many months of legal wrangling, the IRS finally abated those fines.
But the fight was expensive.
Worse, without your action today, I’m afraid our victory may prove to be short-lived.
You see, the IRS REFUSED to admit in writing they were in the wrong - no doubt waiting for their next opportunity to strike.
Now, as a “repeat offender” – and with the fight over Audit the Fed coming to a head in Washington, D.C. - I’m worried about what you and I could face in the next few weeks.
The IRS just may be the best weapon the statists have to stop you and me.

What do I do if the IRS comes after us again?

It could force us to shut down ALL of our critical programs, such as our fights to protect innocent Americans from government spying and stop a government takeover of the Internet – and especially our battle to Audit the Fed.
I can’t explain what a DISASTER that would be.
You and I are so close to EXPOSING the banksters – something I’ve been fighting to do for forty years.
I’m convinced that auditing the Fed will finally show the American people the Federal Reserve System leads to:
*** Ever-expanding Big Government boondoggles like “ObamaCare.”
Now that politicians have figured out the Fed will just print money out of thin air to pay the bills if taxing and borrowing can’t make ends meet, the floodgates are wide open for even more of the statists' utopian plans;
*** Constant economic crises.
The recent housing crisis, with its resulting chaos, is just one example of an economic bubble created by centrally planned interest rates and money manipulation;
*** The destruction of the middle class.
As costs for key goods soar, those who are NOT on the government dole are forced to make do with less as the value of their money sinks;
*** Currency destruction.
History shows us that riots, violence, and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize their money isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on and REFUSE to accept it.
But the statists know all this, too.
That’s why I’m concerned the IRS will come breathing down Campaign for Liberty’s neck once again.

I have no doubt that if the IRS’s ridiculous demands made it to court, Campaign for Liberty would win, hands down.

. . . about forcing me to take resources off of other critical programs just to keep our doors open.
So if the IRS demands our confidential donor information again, hitting us with outrageous fines, should I:
1) Just hand over confidential information on Campaign for Liberty’s top donors?
Truthfully, I’d rather hold a dinner party for Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, and Lindsey Graham than hand over any of Campaign for Liberty’s donor information!
But I’m afraid this is the ONLY way I could avoid both increasing fines and/or expensive legal fees that could force C4L to shut down critical legislative programs such as Audit the Fed.
2) Drop Audit the Fed and focus on fighting the IRS?
I can hardly even stomach the thought. I believe EXPOSING the Federal Reserve is absolutely critical to the survival of our Republic.
But I can’t go into a fight with the IRS without the proper resources. It’s just too dangerous!
3) Stand up to the IRS AND ramp up Campaign for Liberty’s legislative efforts?
Frankly, this will only be possible with an influx of funds.
With the fight over Audit the Fed heating up, and an IRS attack on C4L possible in a matter of weeks, I can’t afford to wait around.

Bye Bye Harry

He spent the past eight years protecting Big Labor's forced-dues coffers and their government-granted power of compulsory unionism. . .
In return, the union bosses spent BILLIONS of forced-dues cash seized from hard-working Americans to keep him in control of the U.S. Senate.
But after three decades helping Big Labor abuse American workers and our economy, Harry Reid is calling it quits.

Christian chaplain is being perseuted by Rainbow Mafia

What would you do if you were a military chaplain ordered to deny Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible?
Lieutenant Commander Wes Modder (U.S. Navy) faced that exact threat.
He chose to hold fast to his Christian beliefs.
And now he is paying the price.
Public Advocate has long warned the nation that Christians are being persecuted in the military.
Radical atheist Mikey Weinstein was hired by Obama officials at the Pentagon to create new, anti-Christian guidelines for the military.
First among his priorities was silencing the evangelical military chaplains.
In his own words, their Bible-based counseling amounted to "spiritual rape."
And it's those policies that are now being used to punish and persecute Chaplain Modder.
Wes Modder has served as chaplain to Sailors, Marines, and Navy SEALs.
He is endorsed by the Assemblies of God and his commander described him as "the best of the best" and "a consummate professional leader."
Yet without any warning or a chance to defend himself, Lt. Commander Modder was stripped of his office. And now he is facing expulsion from the service.
All this is based on the 5-page "grievance" one junior assistant filed against him.
This assistant only worked with Modder for one month, yet used every minute to gather the "evidence" he needed to set the chaplain up.
He prodded at Modder constantly, baited him to make statements that could be taken out of context, took detailed notes, and even hacked into confidential medical counseling records.
In his own words, Modder described the assistant as "constantly peppering him with questions pertaining to homosexuality."
He was not forcing his views on anyone. He was patiently and respectfully sharing his Christian beliefs with an individual begging to know more.
But what Modder didn't realize was this assistant secretly identified as a homosexual.
It's now clear that all the assistant's efforts were part of a plot to entrap Chaplain Modder -- punishment for his support of Christian values.
Obviously the grievance against the Chaplain should have just been thrown out.
But the Pentagon is so desperate to endorse the Homosexual Agenda that they are trampling on the 1st Amendment religious protections.
In an interview, Chaplain Modder explained, "The military now wants a 2.0 chaplain instead of a legacy chaplain." They want a chaplain to accommodate policy that contradicts Scripture.
He has even been ordered to cease praying in the Name of Jesus.

Patriot Act is up for reauthorization,let's get rid of it

It's our privacy. Our liberty. Our "greed" in wanting to keep some of the money we've rightfully earned.
Just since the lid was blown off our federal government's domestic surveillance programs in the summer of 2013, we've seen countless stories hit the press regarding NSA abuses, including:
***NSA employees spying on ex-lovers and spouses - a practice so common, the intelligence community has come up with their own jargon, i.e. "LOVEINT", to describe it;
***REFUSING to say whether or not it's spied on Members of Congress, which would effectively destroy any ability of our government's Legislative Branch to police this rogue agency;
***Effectively GUTTING attorney-client privilege by holding these confidential records.
In fact, one Bloomberg news report states that the NSA "deliberately ignored restrictions on their authority to spy on Americans multiple times in the past decade."
In fact, there are literally thousands of examples of abuse.
But this should be no surprise. Men aren't angels. No,but then again neither are women. Neither are politicians and government bureaucrats.
What's made our country the greatest and freest nation in human history is that our Founders created a Constitution that limited the government's power, and, therefore, the damage evil men and women can inflict.
But today, our Constitution's Fourth Amendment – which protects American citizens right to privacy from government – is under assault like never before.
With it, the protections you and I have against the actions of evil men and women, holding the reins of our own government, are dropping like flies.
You and I must take a stand.
