In marijuana news
There are a couple of things marijuana related that I want to bring up and since I do not feel like creating two posts I just combine the two on this one post. Here they are:
It’s incredible to see the progress we have made in recent years. Marijuana has been legalized for adults in nine states and Washington, D.C., and polls show two out of three Americans want to end the failed policy of prohibition.
But our opponents think they can stop our momentum — and they’re spending a lot of money to defeat Prop 1 in Michigan.
A win in Michigan would demonstrate the strength of our movement. But imagine the headlines if Prop 1 fails. Project SAM and their prohibitionist allies will claim that the tide is turning. Politicians in Congress would take note, and if they think voters are changing their mind, our reform efforts at the federal level could be jeopardized.
We have to prove the anti-legalization voices wrong. Make a donation to the YES on 1 campaign to help them fight back against their opposition’s fear tactics.
The Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol produced a series of powerful ads. These TV and digital ads tell the truth about legalization, and they are the perfect antidote to the opposition’s demonstrably false attack ads. Your contribution will go directly towards helping the campaign share these messages with more Michigan voters.
There’s not much time left. Election Day is just a few days away. I can’t emphasize enough how important Prop 1 is for the future of our legalization movement. Please, get in the fight and support the campaign today.
and this:
Attorney General Jeff Sessions may be waging a very public war against marijuana, but we have another Sessions to contend with, a much quieter one with an insidious agenda to ramp up the decades-old drug war, long ago proven to be wasteful and ineffective.
U.S. Representative Pete Sessions has been using his chairmanship of the Rules Committee to stifle popular amendments that would protect legal marijuana, refusing to bring them to the floor. This, despite a record 66% of adults in the U.S. being in favor of legalized marijuana, according to a recent Gallup poll.
This has to stop – and you can make it stop. Stand with the Drug Policy Alliance and tell Rep. Pete Sessions you won't stand for his harmful agenda to stifle drug policy reform. Sign our petition today.
Because of Rep. Sessions' actions, DPA hasn't even been able to produce our annual legislative report card to inform voters like you about elected officials' stances on marijuana reform, a resource we typically provide ahead of every election season.
Through his willful obstruction, Rep. Pete Sessions has halted reform that would help people across the board, including allowing veterans access to medical marijuana, protecting states from federal interference and expanding research into marijuana health benefits. Sign our petition now. Tell Rep. Pete Sessions his outdated, destructive drug war must end.
The election is on Tuesday. See you at the polls.

Greedy businesspeople in Michigan want to thwart the will of the people
From Marijuana Policy Project:
Until recently, our signature drive to place a marijuana legalization initiative on the Michigan ballot was running smoothly.
There’ve been no serious problems with the campaign’s coalition or petitioning personnel, no problems with the initiative language, no problems in court, and no problems with meeting deadlines.
There are, however, problems with an aspiring marijuana cartel.
You see, a small circle of politically connected businessmen want to own the only companies that can legally grow and produce marijuana in Michigan. Unfortunately, because our initiative is too fair – it would allow regular people to own and run businesses – the creepy businessmen are working to prevent our initiative from reaching the November 2018 ballot, just so they can pass their own version of marijuana legalization in November 2020.
And they don’t care if an extra 40,000 Michiganders (mostly young men of color) get arrested for marijuana because of the two-year delay.
Seeing that our signature drive was ahead of schedule, the creepy businessmen recently convinced their friends in the Michigan government to target our initiative’s biggest source of funding – the dispensaries that provide medical marijuana to patients in all of southeastern Michigan. Almost all dispensaries are now expected to close by September 15.
Please punch back by donating $35 toward the $350,000 we need to complete the Michigan signature drive.
The old-boys club is sacrificing young black men on an altar of greed ... by using their tools in government to take medicine away from patients. You read that correctly: The bad guys are shooting at two groups of disadvantaged people to get what they want.
Now it’s your turn to fight two bad guys for the price of one: Please donate $35 or $1,000 today to defeat the cartel wannabes and corrupt government officials.

Muslims take over Michigan town
Hamtramck, Michigan is the first city in America with a majority Muslim population. According to the Washington Post, the population finally got up the numbers to put their people into city and local government.
And, boy — they didn’t take long to show exactly what a Muslim-run city council was going to do for the impoverished Michigan town.
Hamtramck has been, for decades, a town of Polish immigrants.
Right after the Nov. 3 election, community organizer Ibrahim Algahim expressed glee that the immigrants who had built the town up were no longer in power. “Today, we show the Polish and everybody else,” he said.
And show them, they did. It’s now illegal to serve alcohol within 500 feet of a mosque in Hamtramck, which is surrounded by Detroit and is the most densely populated town in Michigan with a population of 22,000.
And this in a town, according to the Washington Post, that openly flaunted prohibition by keeping bars open.
However, according to one of the men on the city council, Saam Almasmari, it’s not their fault.
“I don’t know why people keep putting religion into politics,” said Almasari, the highest vote-getter in November’s election. “When we asked for votes, we didn’t ask what their religion was.”
The Washington Post describes the city as “row after row of two-story, turn-of-the-century bungalows packed into two square miles.” After manufacturing jobs left, as with the rest of the Michigan, property values in the town plummeted, which led to massive demographic shifts. Now, 27 languages are spoken in Hamtramck’s schools.
“The Polish people think we were invading them,” said Masud Khan, a leader of the town’s al-Islah Islamic Center. “We were a big threat to their religion and culture. Now their days are gone.”
Do you think the story of Hamtramck should serve as a warning to America? Let us know how you feel on our Facebook page and Twitter.

Sign the directive to stand up to the rainbow mafia
From Public Advocate:
82 percent!
That's the overwhelming majority of Americans who support Religious Liberty.
When asked if Christian business owners have the right to refuse participating in a homosexual "wedding," 82 percent of Americans stood for Religious Liberty and said yes.
This is the second study proving the majority of Americans support Religious Liberty.
Yet even with 82 percent of Americans opposed to their agenda, the radical Homosexual Lobby is relentlessly destroying Religious Liberty.
In fact, one Religious Liberty expert warned "Defenders of Religious Liberty need to be very, very nervous."
You see, I've warned you about billionaire homosexual activist Tim Gill and his wealthy network of donors seeking to destroy Religious Liberty in the past.
New reports are revealing how well-funded and organized Gill's efforts to destroy Religious Liberty are.
Dozens of homosexual think-tanks, PACs and organizations are working cohesively to force faith-based organizations to accept homosexual "marriage."
And Tim Gill is spearheading this anti-Family network.
In 2003, Gill created a network of anti-Family donors and established radical groups in Colorado.
Gill changed Colorado forever.
Within a few short years, Gill defeated pro-Family politicians and turned Colorado into the Homosexual Lobby's blueprint for the nation.
Each year, Gill and his network passed law after law implementing the radical Homosexual Agenda.
And with the Supreme Court ushering in homosexual "marriage," Gill and his fellow radicals now have their sights set on destroying Religious Liberty in every state across the nation.
We've already seen their work.
Their tactics include bullying pro-Family Americans, defeating pro-Family politicians, and threatening anyone who opposes them with expensive lawsuits – including your Public Advocate.
And in a recent interview, Gill proclaimed that homosexual special "rights" are his top priority.
I was the first to warn about billionaire homosexual activist Tim Gill's plan to destroy Religious Liberty.
You see, Gill recently tried to pass a version of the Gay Bill of Special Rights in Michigan.
In fact, his radical agenda crashed into a brick wall when I mobilized pro-Family Americans to join Public Advocate's opposition to Gill's Gay Bill of Special Rights in Michigan.
I'm confident that we can repeat our proven grassroots strategy to protect Religious Liberty against Gill and his allies.
But now Tim Gill is fresh off a Supreme Court victory for homosexual "marriage" and is focusing solely on destroying Religious Liberty in America!
And unless Public Advocate recruits thousands of pro-Family Americans, Tim Gill and his allies will enforce their entire homosexual agenda – ending Religious Liberty as we know it.
Gill is frustrated that the overwhelming majority of Americans believe Religious Liberty must be protected.
But unless they're identified and mobilized, politicians everywhere will cave and give into the demands of Gill and the radical Homosexual Lobby.
That's why after you sign your Protect Religious Liberty Directive, I hope I can count on you help Public Advocate mobilize pro-Family Americans by chipping in $10 or $25 today.
For the Family,
HON. EUGENE DELGAUDIO
President, Public Advocate of the U.S.
P.S. Radical homosexual activist and billionaire Tim Gill is pumping millions of dollars into the radical Homosexual Lobby's efforts to destroy Religious Liberty, state-by-state.
But 82 percent of Americans believe in Religious Liberty.

Should the National Right To Work Committee fight on or give up?
From The National Right To Work Committee:
Let me get right to the point.
Over the past 12 months, the union bosses' seemingly endless power grabs -- perpetrated with the help of Obama's radical National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) -- have been "taxing" the National Right to Work Foundation's resources like never before.
And that means you and I face some difficult decisions.
First, the good news: I'm increasingly encouraged that America's waking up to just how dangerous Big Labor's $20 billion (BILLION!) empire is . . .
. . . How they extort the precious wages of hard-working men and women as a condition of employment and corrupt our politics, strangle businesses, penalize taxpayers and mock our Constitution.
In 2012, Indiana and Michigan rejected forced unionism and became the 23rd and 24th Right to Work states.
And just a few months ago, Wisconsin followed suit and became America's 25th Right to Work state!
But as you and I know, Big Labor does not easily relinquish its forced-dues power, so union boss lawyers are attacking these reforms in the courts.
The good news is, your National Right to Work Foundation is going toe-to-toe with union boss lawyers, defending these laws from Big Labor's legal assaults.
But make no mistake: The Obama Administration's sweetheart deals for Big Labor, and the $1.7 billion political spending blitz by the union bosses in 2012, have exposed just how powerful Big Labor remains.
Powerful union officials and their government allies are fuming mad at the hard-fought battles opponents of forced unionism have won in recent years, and they're using every trick in the book not only to take back lost ground, but also to expand their forced-dues power.
That's why I must hear from you immediately. Please sign your Confidential Supporter Directive right away.
Fighting the Obama Administration's power grabs for Big Labor is taxing the National Right to Work Foundation's resources like never before.
And even in the face of their recent setbacks, forced-unionism advocates aren't throwing in the towel.
On the contrary, with BILLIONS of forced-dues dollars at stake, the union bosses are redoubling efforts to reclaim lost ground and expand their forced-unionism privileges.
And they have a powerful ally in the Obama-stacked NLRB, which just declared war on all state Right to Work laws.
A Foundation client and I were invited to testify at a Congressional hearing on this issue earlier this month.
That's why your Right to Work Foundation's work is so critical.
The fact is, taking on the out-of-control NLRB is just one of the fronts we're fighting on.
With nearly 200 active cases right now, here's just a glimpse of what Foundation attorneys are working on:
*** Five federal lawsuits designed to build on the reasoning the U.S. Supreme Court gave in our Harris and Knox precedents with the goal of ending other government-granted Big Labor forced-unionism schemes, including union bosses' power to extract forced dues from public employees.
*** Scores of cases attacking Big Labor's use of forced dues to fund its political machine -- vitally important now as union operatives are already gearing up to install another puppet politician in the White House and take back the U.S. Senate.
*** Challenges to the aggressive compulsory unionism policies pushed by Obama appointees in the executive branch, including the Department of Labor and the NLRB.
*** Critical cases defending and enforcing state Right to Work protections, especially in the newest Right to Work states: Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Here's the rub. Your Foundation continues to operate on a tight budget in 2015, and it's crucial we allocate our resources to cover all our bases.
Soon, I'll sit down with the five-member Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees to decide whether changes must be made in the Foundation's program budget.
But before I do, I'd like to have your guidance and help.
Can you spare just a few minutes of your time and fill out your Supporter Directive?
You see, right now choices must be made among certain priorities in our program. And I'm asking your advice before I act.
The fact is, I'd rather scale back in a few fights (even though we believe we could win!) than get stretched too thin.
Here's an in-depth view of some of the most important fights the Foundation is waging right now:
>>> Pushing forward with cutting-edge cases that directly challenge the constitutionality of forced union dues for all public employees.
In our most recent Supreme Court victories, the Justices indicated that they may be open to repealing all forced dues in the government sector, and Foundation staff attorneys are working on filing a brief in one such challenge right now.
>>> Attacking forced-dues-for-politics schemes and illegal diversion of union money into partisan politics.
After all, you and I know we can't just trust union bosses to voluntarily comply with Foundation-won precedents that protect employees from forced-dues-for-politics schemes.
>>> Defending workers from Big Labor's aggressive Top Down Forced-Unionism strategy.
Utilizing new Obama NLRB rules, Big Labor is expanding its aggressive organizing tactics to push more workers into forced-unionism ranks, including quick-snap elections and "Card Check."
>>> Bolstering our outreach program. The impact of our legal victories is limited if workers aren't informed.
Our informational campaigns ensure workers harmed by Organized Labor's forced-dues schemes know they have an ally in the fight to resist union boss subjugation.
I'm sure you can see why now would be a terrible time to throttle back our efforts.
But I need input from our supporters detailing where you want the Foundation to focus our efforts.
So please fill out your Confidential Supporter Directive right away.
The fact is, in the coming months, Big Labor will unleash their multi-billion dollar, forced-dues-funded political warchest to maintain their iron-fisted control of the White House, recapture the U.S. Senate and take over state legislatures and governors' mansions nationwide.
But your Foundation is hitting back hard -- fighting forced-dues-for-politics schemes in state courts and agencies, in federal courts and at the NLRB.
With the union bosses using their political clout to launch still more power grabs, it's vital that you and I not let up now.
I hope you understand what a profound threat opponents of forced unionism face.
Time after time, you have loyally stood with the Right to Work Foundation as we have fought pivotal battles.
After all you and I have achieved, it would be a devastating blow to have to pull back -- especially now when our achievements hold the promise of attracting new supporters to our cause.
In fact, national leaders including Steve Forbes and U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-ID) are helping in a nationwide campaign to build new support for Right to Work. But identifying and recruiting new supporters takes resources, too.
So, along with your completed Supporter Directive, I hope I can count on your most generous tax-deductible contribution right away.
You see, with the spate of Right to Work victories, union officials are pressing harder and in more sophisticated ways to expand their forced-dues empire.
That's why it's vital the Right to Work Foundation keep up the fight on all fronts.
And why your completed Supporter Directive is so important.
At this moment, Foundation attorneys are representing tens of thousands of employees in nearly 200 active legal aid cases.
Each case is unique, and vital precedents are at stake. It is difficult to consider abandoning any of them.
But fighting all the battles I've described will cost an estimated $4,960,000 through the end of the year.
And, if the Foundation is not in a strong position, there's no doubt Big Labor will be all the more eager to launch new attacks on America's workers or on the Foundation itself.
The fact is, for many years, the National Right to Work Foundation has stood in the breach. And you've stood with us.
Now, I'm writing to you and all of the Foundation's best supporters because, according to my calculations, if you and our other most generous supporters gave a tax-deductible gift of $10 to the Foundation today, it would be enough to fully fund the rest of our 2015 program.
I realize that $10 is a lot to ask, but too much is at stake and your Committee needs your help.
Unfortunately, I know a few people won't or can't give at all right now, and I understand that.
They will count on others to carry their load. Some folks may set this letter aside (despite the urgency) and forget to send a contribution.
That's why, if you can, please consider making a $10 contribution today to fund our vital programs.
It could be that's more than you've given as a single gift before, but I hope you will seriously consider this request.
More than anything, your investment is a testament to just how critical the Foundation's ongoing projects are.
If I can count on generous donors like you to give such a contribution now, I could put aside any thoughts of scaling back our programs and focus on challenging Big Labor's forced-dues assaults.
You see, with your investment, the Foundation can maintain and hopefully even increase its aggressive attack on Big Labor's compulsory unionism schemes.
If, for some reason, you just can't send $10 today, please give at least $5 or whatever you can afford right away.
Whether you send $10 or $5 -- or if a lesser amount is the most you can do -- please fill out your Confidential Supporter Directive giving me your advice, and please be as generous as you are able.
Please, help today. Your support will make a real difference.
Sincerely,
Mark Mix
P.S. Your National Right to Work Foundation stands in the breach, protecting the right of all Americans to be free from union boss tyranny.
Yet at this crucial moment, I fear the Foundation may not have the resources needed to fight all the threats you and I face.
So, your advice today is critical. Please submit your Confidential Supporter Directive at once, and please agree to your most generous tax-deductible contribution of $10 to fund our vital programs.
Let me get right to the point.

Michigan's version of the gay bill of special rights goes down in flames
From Public Advocate:
The Homosexual Lobby's radical agenda crashed into a brick wall in Michigan.
All thanks to your Public Advocate and our pro-Family supporters!
Just last week, Michigan's version of the Gay Bill of Special Rights -- dubbed the Pedophile Protection Act due to its far-reaching implications -- failed to gain enough support in the House Commerce Committee to even warrant a vote.
That makes it a dead bill when Michigan's lame duck session comes to a close.
But this is just a small part of the story.
This pro-Family victory was the result of months of Public Advocate's hard work and our thousands of supporters on the ground in Michigan.
Public Advocate issued hard-hitting pro-Family surveys to every candidate for state office before November's elections -- nearly 350 individuals!
Key battleground House Districts were targeted for additional advocacy; such as postcards, automated phone calls, local activist meetings, and even leafleting.
Representatives from three of these targeted districts were on the Commerce Committee -- and when the time came to debate this despicable bill, they had learned the importance of opposing it.
We also faced off against the entire Homosexual Lobby in one key district over an open seat.
The Homosexual Lobby publicly bragged they would defeat the pro-Family candidate running there who completed our Family Values Survey 100%.
We gave the voters of that district the real story of the Homosexual Lobby, their agenda, and what their candidate had in mind for Michigan.
And the people rallied around the pro-Family choice.
The November elections saw the Homosexual Lobby lose in almost every open race for the state House and Senate.
Due to these defeats, they have no chance of controlling this legislature in the next session.
That's why they were desperate to ram their bill through during Lame Duck.
And that's why it was so crucial for Public Advocate's supporters to step up for Traditional Values and Religious Liberties.
For an entire month, Public Advocate's supporters answered our calls to action.
They flooded the state capitol with phone calls and emails.
Two of the biggest targets in Lansing were Speaker of the House Jase Bolger and State Representative Frank Foster, the two leading Republican supporters of the Pedophile Protection Act (PPA).
Both received massive payouts from anti-Family radicals Tim Gill and Paul Singer this summer.
And both have faced the pro-Family backlash for their betrayal.
Frank Foster actually lost his primary bid for re-election to another candidate who returned our survey 100% pro-Family.
And Speaker Bolger was forced to offer up a Michigan Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in an effort to buy support for his radical bill.
Public Advocate's grassroots efforts were so effective that while the PPA died in Frank Foster's Commerce Committee, the RFRA sailed right through the House!
To sum up the Homosexual Lobby's defeat in Michigan, 2014:
•Wasted over $150,000 buying candidates who were rendered powerless or even removed from office,
•Lost a key House race in which they focused national efforts and resources,
•Failed to gain control of either the state House or Senate -- and even lost influence there,
•Defeated in the legislative fight to see their bill (PPA) passed out of Committee, let alone out of the House,
•Lost the war for public opinion as the people of Michigan widely turned against them,
•Failed to prevent the Religious Freedom Restoration Act from passing the House in place of the PPA,
•Were crushed at every point by Public Advocate's 'David' to their 'Goliath.'
All this was made possible by your support and donations.
Public Advocate does more on a shoestring budget than the Homosexual Lobby can accomplish with their giant bank accounts.
Our secret weapon: your dedication and your passion.
And I cannot overstate how critical this victory in Michigan was.
As the future of the national Gay Bill of Special Rights was looking darker and darker, the national Homosexual Lobby set up Michigan as a proxy fight -- a consolation prize to their radical members.
Over the last month, major groups like the Human Rights Campaign spoke about Michigan nearly as much as they did D.C.
But your Public Advocate defeated them on both the national and state levels.
And together, you and I showed America that the fight over Family Values and Traditional Morality is not over.
For the Family,
HON. EUGENE DELGAUDIO
President, Public Advocate of the U.S.
P.S. Will you chip in $10 or $20 to help fund Public Advocate in this fight?

Prevent gay bill of special rights in Michigan
From Public Advocate:
Two of the wealthiest enemies of Real Marriage in America have just set their sights on Michigan.
Tim Gill and Paul Singer control hundreds of millions of dollars dedicated to the Homosexual Agenda.
Tim Gill’s Action Fund used his millions to take over Colorado politics and enshrine homosexual privileges into law.
Right now, Christian baker Jack Phillips is being persecuted by those very legislative changes.
Paul Singer made his first major attack on the Family when he paid off New York state legislators to pass homosexual “marriage” in their state.
After that, he created the American Unity PAC and pumped millions of dollars in political campaigns and marriage referendums during the 2012 election cycle.
Now these two are trying to “purchase” Michigan for the radical Homosexual Lobby as well.
Singer and Gill have officially funneled $155,000 into Michigan politics to help buy passage of a state version of the Gay Bill of Special Rights.
These pay-offs have gone to State Representatives Frank Foster and Jase Bolger, who is also the Speaker of the State House.
The plan calls for Foster to introduce the bill and for Bolger to bring it up for a vote.
Singer and Gill each gave $50,000 to the Bolger Restore Michigan Fund and $25,000 each to Foster’s Spotlight Michigan Fund.
That's $75,000 from each.
Singer also gave the maximum campaign contribution to Bolger and Foster, while Gill gave the maximum donation to Foster and three declared homosexuals running as Democratic House candidates.
And this is just their first strike.
They don’t have the numbers when it comes to voters, so they are using the numbers in their bank accounts.
But pro-Family Michiganders aren’t giving up.
And they just proved again that the Homosexual Lobby does not have the support of the voters.
Representative Foster lost his bid for re-election in the Republican primary.
His constituents rejected him expressly for his support of the Homosexual Agenda.
His opponent actually credits his own victory to standing against the Homosexual Agenda.
While this is a great victory for the Family, there is a downside we have to deal with.
Foster is now a “lameduck” legislator.
Since he is on his way out of office, he has nothing to lose by pushing the Gay Bill of Special Rights.
We have to ramp up pressure on Michigan legislators to kill this bill in its tracks.
That's why Public Advocate keeps pro-Family leaders like you informed, and with key people like you, we can immediately impact Michigan and reverse wrongful efforts by the mega-rich Gay lobbyists.
Together, we can show billionaires like Tim Gill and Paul Singer that our country is not for sale!

The unions are trying to sabotage right to work law in Michigan
From The National Right To Work Committee:
“This could be a game changer with HUGE national implications.”
I still remember those thoughts running through the back of my head as I watched the Michigan State Legislature vote to make Michigan America’s 24th Right to Work state in late 2012 . . .
After all, Michigan is the United Autoworkers’ (UAW) home turf!
The state has been considered Big Labor’s backyard for decades!
In 2012 it became America’s 24th Right to Work state.
That means no worker, private or public, can be forced to pay union dues or fees to get or keep a job.
But now, less than two years later, I’m concerned it could all go up in smoke.
You see, the union bosses are going all-out to DESTROY Michigan’s Right to Work Law this election year.
And without your action today, I’m afraid they just may succeed.
I’ll explain the stakes in this fight could not be any higher . . .
That’s why I’ve just recently set up the Emergency Michigan Right to Work Defense Fund.
And I must ask for your most generous support IMMEDIATELY.
You see, passage of any state Right to Work Law anywhere in the country is always a big cause for celebration.
But Michigan is different . . .
For decades Big Labor ruled Michigan with an iron fist.
And those forced union dues -- stripped from the paychecks of Michigan workers who would be fired if they didn’t pay -- funded a massive chunk of Big Labor’s multi-billion dollar NATIONAL political machine.
That’s right.
Forced dues extracted from Michigan workers not only helped union bosses keep a stranglehold on Lansing, but on Washington, D.C., as well.
Union bosses raided their forced-dues coffers to bankroll the elections and re-elections of union-label politicians like President Barack Obama, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
I know you understand the steep price we’ve paid nationally for Big Labor’s forced-dues racket.
But just consider Michigan’s fall as a national economic power over the past few decades . . .
In 1960, Detroit was the richest per capita city in the United States as manufacturing drove a booming statewide economy.
But when much of the nation was experiencing an economic boom after the recession in the early 2000's, Michigan was mired in a notorious “lost decade,” shedding over 840,000 jobs!
Those lost jobs, fleeing citizens and union-label politicians’ outrageous policies all finally culminated in the City of Detroit being forced to declare bankruptcy.
The good news is, the people of Michigan finally had enough!
And since passing Right to Work -- which simply states that no Michigan worker can be forced to financially support a union as a condition of employment -- Michigan has seen a massive economic turnaround including:
***Catapulting to second in the nation in manufacturing job creation – just behind Indiana, which passed a Right to Work law in February 2012;
***An unemployment rate lower than at any time in the past five years as the number of unemployed Michiganders has dropped by 30% since 2010;
***Surging to ninth in the nation in per capita income growth! All this has the union bosses steaming mad.
After all, the union bosses know that as more Americans see the economic benefits of Right to Work, the more momentum it creates for passage of a National Right to Work Law!
But since nearly 80% of Americans already oppose forced unionism, the union bosses also know the real key to keeping and expanding political power is their ability to inflict pain at the ballot box.
That’s why the union bosses are gunning for Michigan with a massive two-part plan using everything they have in 2014.
Big Labor’s publically stated goal is take out as many pro-Right to Work Michigan state legislators at the ballot box as possible.
The union bosses know that as long as politicians fear a Big Labor-fueled backlash at the ballot box, they’ll cower at the thought of taking on the union bosses’ forced unionism power.
Should the union bosses fail, they know more and more state legislatures throughout the country will be emboldened to pass Right to Work.
Their forced-dues political empire could begin to crumble.
Their stranglehold on Washington, D.C. could begin to loosen.
That’s why Michigan is so important.
So won't you please consider making your most generous contribution of $25, $15, $5, or whatever you can afford right away.
Of course, because forced unionism is the law in all areas where the federal government has jurisdiction -- even in Right to Work states -- a National Right to Work Law is the ultimate solution to Big Labor’s forced dues racket.
But state Right to Work laws are a BIG deal. And, as I mentioned, Michigan’s is one of the BIGGEST.
That’s why I recently set up the Emergency Michigan Right to Work Defense Fund -- and why I’m counting on your IMMEDIATE support.
The union bosses are going to resort to every political trick in the book to bring forced-union dues back to Michigan.
You and I have to be there ready to fight back every step of the way, including:
Paying for targeted mail and email to ensure Michigan citizens get the truth about how Right to Work has been an important and massive step forward;
Writing op-eds and conducting statewide media tours to dispel the outright LIES the union bosses WILL be spreading about Right to Work;
Running hard-hitting TV ads reminding citizens of the brutal days during Michigan’s “lost decade;”
Running a full-scale Candidate Survey Program to ensure every one of the union bosses’ radical hand-picked candidates are EXPOSED.
Of course, this all takes money.
And with the AFL-CIO pouring in $60 million, it’s going to take a lot to hold our own against Big Labor.
But really there is no choice. The stakes are just too high.
That’s why the Emergency Michigan Right to Work Defense Fund must be mobilized -- and why I’m counting on your most generous and IMMEDIATE support.
Won’t you please agree to your most generous gift of $25 right away?
I know that’s a lot.
But we simply must have all hands on deck.
But if $25 is just too much, won’t you please agree to $15 or at least $5?
Your generosity today could make a world of difference.
The national union bosses are going after Michigan’s Right to Work Law with everything they have.
You and I MUST fight back.
Please agree to your most generous contribution of $25, $15 or at least $5 TODAY!
Sincerely,
Mark Mix
President
P.S. The truth is, the national union bosses are going after Michigan’s Right to Work Law with everything they have this election year.

Right to work victories
From The National Right To Work Committee:
The headlines have been stunning.
***SEIU Hit With Second-Biggest Campaign Finance Fine in Michigan History
***Wisconsin AFL-CIO Failed to Disclose Special Election Spending
***Big Labor, ‘Looking for Revenge,’ Expects to Dump $300 Million into 2014 Elections
And even so, they’ve barely scratched the surface of Big Labor’s forced-dues-funded election-year schemes.
Any day now, another headline may soon be spreading from coast to coast:
***Right to Work for All Civil Servants, Supreme Court Holds
The High Court’s term wraps up later this month, so a ruling in your National Right to Work Foundation’s Harris v. Quinn case is imminent.
A major Right to Work victory could “demolish a major source of funding and support for the Democratic Party,” one Big Labor apologist recently wrote.
But it’s a dangerous game to predict how the frequently cautious Supreme Court will rule.
That’s why Foundation staff attorneys are prepared to keep up the fight, especially as more and more stories come out this year exposing Big Labor’s corruption of our politics.
You see, during the last major election cycle, a Wall Street Journal report showed that, “the unions’ reports to the Labor Department capture an additional $3.3 billion that unions spent” on politics between 2005 and 2011 beyond their self-reported numbers.
And those staggering figures don’t even include Big Labor’s enormous local and regional political expenditures.
The fact is, as another election season shifts into high gear, Big Labor is once again pulling out all the stops.
Your help is vital right now to fight back against Big Labor’s multi-billion-dollar forced-dues political activism.
And Foundation attorneys tell me daily about ever more brazen examples of union boss forced-unionism misconduct.
Outraged workers are literally flooding our phone and e-mail systems with complaints of union boss abuse and requests for help.
With the election just around the corner, time is short.
If you and I don’t act, Big Labor will have spent all the workers’ money on politics before these workers can force them to give it back.
So it’s vital your Foundation be able to respond immediately to the flood of worker complaints with lawsuits, NLRB charges, Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaints, exposure in the media . . .
. . . Whatever it takes.
That’s why I am asking you to make a special contribution today to help the National Right to Work Foundation fight back.
With your help, the Foundation will be able to dramatically step up efforts to use legal action to block Big Labor’s illegal forced-dues-funded political electioneering.
A top Foundation priority for the rest of the year is to file new legal actions to force union officials to comply with prohibitions on collecting and using forced dues for politics.
You see, Big Labor is striving to undo recent Right to Work gains -- especially the passage of Right to Work Laws in Indiana and Michigan, as well as Wisconsin’s government-sector monopoly bargaining reforms.
That’s why in addition to spending hundreds of millions (if not billions) of dollars on U.S. Senate races, they’re scheming to take over state legislatures in all three states and governors’ mansions in both Michigan and Wisconsin.
Right to Work victories in Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin have begun to put a crimp in the forced-dues-to-politics pipeline.
But with billions of dollars at stake, the union bosses will stop at nothing to open the spigots all the way.
And they’ll have help.
As you know, union officials still have unprecedented access to a Big Labor-friendly White House and control of the U.S. Senate.
The fact is, President Barack Obama literally let top AFL-CIO union boss Richard Trumka handpick the new members of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
That’s just one in a series of behind-the-scenes maneuvers the Obama Administration has made to reward its Big Labor benefactors, who unleashed another billion-dollar spending blitz two years ago to re-elect Barack Obama and lock in its majority in the U.S. Senate.
And even before that election was over, they were already scheming for 2014.
I hope you understand the real threat opponents of forced unionism face this year. I’m sure you must be as concerned as I am about the prospect of Big Labor’s forced-dues political machine targeting pro-Right to Work politicians in November.
With your help, the Foundation will:
***Prosecute cases against union officials who illegally seize and spend forced-dues money to get their cronies elected to positions of power.
***Protect popular state Right to Work laws that make union affiliation voluntary in 24 states. Union bosses are mounting end-runs around these laws and continuing to file nuisance lawsuits to block their implementation.
***Expose Big Labor’s misdeeds. Every time Foundation attorneys file charges against union bosses for breaking the law, misusing union dues or instigating violence against workers, the Foundation hammers the union bosses in the press for these ugly abuses.
The Foundation has been a much-needed watchdog against the union bosses countless times, including our recent victory for a New York teacher whose religious objection to union membership had been met with years of delay and law-breaking by local union officials.
In fact, no other nationwide organization is poised to stop Big Labor’s illegal use of workers’ forced-dues cash to advance its political agenda.
***It was our FEC complaint that led to a massive fine – the third largest in FEC history – against a Service Employees International Union (SEIU) front group.
***It was National Right to Work Foundation staff attorneys who won the Knox case in 2012, when the U.S. Supreme Court held that union bosses must obtain the affirmative consent of non member public-employees before collecting fees for an “emergency” political slush fund in an election year.
***And Foundation attorneys were back at the High Court earlier this year and a ruling is imminent in our Harris v. Quinn case that could expand on that victory and stop the collection of all forced union fees from public employees.
Time and time again, the Foundation has been on the front lines against Big Labor’s schemes to buy elections with money seized from unwilling workers.
That’s why it’s vital you help the Foundation today. Would you take a moment right now to help with a timely contribution of $50?
Please consider making a gift that generous. But if $50 is more than you can spare today, then I hope you’ll consider a gift of at least $35 or $15.
With your help, Foundation attorneys will be fighting to block Big Labor’s illegal use of forced dues for politics wherever we find it.
Whether you can afford to give $50 or $35, or if for you a contribution of $15 is a sacrifice, the most important thing is to act today.
With so many challenges ahead of us, it is vital that we act immediately to stop Big Labor illegality.
Please make a generous, tax-deductible gift today.
Sincerely,
Mark Mix
P.S. With union bosses mounting their largest forced-dues political effort in history, it’s vital the Foundation fight back with lawsuits, NLRB charges, FEC complaints, exposure in the media . . . on every possible front.
And with the elections right around the corner, you and I must act TODAY.
So please respond today with a generous, tax-deductible gift of $50, $35, $15 or whatever you can afford.

Oppose forced unionism in Michigan
As I’ll explain shortly, the stakes in this fight could not be any higher . .
*** Catapulting to second in the nation in manufacturing job creation – just behind Indiana, which passed a Right to Work law in February 2012;
*** An unemployment rate lower than at any time in the past five years as the number of unemployed Michiganders has dropped by 30% since 2010;
*** Surging to ninth in the nation in per capita income growth!
FIRST -- Big Labor’s publically stated goal is take out as many pro-Right to Work Michigan state legislators at the ballot box as possible.
The union bosses know that as long as politicians fear a Big Labor-fueled backlash at the ballot box, they’ll cower at the thought of taking on the union bosses’ forced unionism power.
SECOND -- There's also the possibility the union bosses could try to repeal Michigan's Right to Work Law with a ballot referendum. While we've seen little movement from Big Labor on this front, the union bosses have until July 7 to collect the signatures needed to put Michigan Right to Work repeal on the ballot in November.
Back in 2012, union officials were able to gather signatures blocking passage of a Right to Work law in just about three months, but the people of Michigan defeated this effort.
Efforts to repeal Right to Work can happen fast, so you and I must be ready for anything.
Should the union bosses fail, they know more and more state legislatures throughout the country will be emboldened to pass Right to Work.
Their forced-dues political empire could begin to crumble.
Their stranglehold on Washington, D.C. could begin to loosen.
That’s why Michigan is so important.
So won't you please consider making your most generous contribution of $50, $25, $10, or whatever you can afford right away.
Paying for targeted mail and email to ensure Michigan citizens get the truth about how Right to Work has been an important and massive step forward;
Writing op-eds and conducting statewide media tours to dispel the outright LIES the union bosses WILL be spreading about Right to Work;
Running hard-hitting TV ads reminding citizens of the brutal days during Michigan’s “lost decade;”
Won’t you please agree to your most generous gift of $50 right away?
I know that’s a lot.
But we simply must have all hands on deck.
But if $50 is just too much, won’t you please agree to $25 or at least $10?
Your generosity today could make a world of difference.
The national union bosses are going after Michigan’s Right to Work Law with everything they have.
You and I MUST fight back.
Please agree to your most generous contribution of $50, $25 or at least $10 TODAY!
Sincerely,
Mark Mix

P.S. The truth is, the national union bosses are going after Michigan’s Right to Work Law with everything they have this election year.

Thrid world city
I recently heard about the war torn country of El Gabriel, specifically the capital,Las Palmas. Las Palmas was once a thriving city in this nation but war and other strifes have taken their toll on this once prosperous city. Check it out yourself:
The fighting between the government and the rebels has destroyed this city.
Guess what. Time to fess up. There is no Las Palmas and there is no El Gabriel.
Those photos are of Detroit Michigan USA.
If the photos didn't drive the point home I hope the videos do:
