Demand transparency in the TPP debate

From Open Media:

You probably already know that the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) threatens so much of what we hold dear -- this secret agreement will censor our Internet, send jobs overseas, undermine environmental regulations, and remove our most basic democratic rights.

For the last week, while U.S. President Obama has been in closed-door meetings in Asia desperately trying to finalize the TPP, a team of hardworking citizens has been projecting our hard-hitting “Stop the Secrecy!” message on key buildings around Washington D.C.

We know the more people who see these images, the more decision makers will feel the heat, so we’re working overtime to make sure the images go viral. Can you chip in to help support the hard-hitting social media campaign we’ll need to achieve this?

Our campaign to raise the public awareness around this agreement has already had an impact; the President failed to finalize the agreement during his trip, and he failed to secure needed “fast-track authority” from Congress.

We need to show decision makers that the public won’t accept the TPP without a full transparent debate; we know they are paying attention.

Please, chip in to help us run a hard-hitting social media campaign. For $10 dollars, we can tell 2700 people about the TPP; for $20 we can reach 5,500, and for $50 we can reach 11,250 people!

Once people realize what’s being decided behind their back without their consent, they’ll never stand for it. We can make the TPP impossible to pass by making sure as many people as possible are aware of it. Are you with us?

Thank you for being such an inspiration,

Steve, Jason on behalf of your OpenMedia team
