Trouble in Turkey

From Fight For The Future:

Thousands have taken to the streets in Turkey to protest censorship, but they've been brutally suppressed. It's time for the Internet to show the Turkish people we have their back.

Turkey’s Internet is already heavily restricted -- at last estimate there are already over 40,000 websites being blocked including major video sharing sites like YouTube and Vimeo, blogging sites like WordPress, and a huge variety of other sites that have been critical of the government.1

An attack on the open Internet anywhere is an attack on the open Internet everywhere. We can’t sit idly by while any government so blatantly attacks Internet freedom.
