Activist judge upholds gay marriage in Florida

From Public Advocate:

An activist judge in the Florida Keys has sparked an uproar among pro-Family Floridians.

Chief Circuit Judge Luis M. Garcia took matters into his own hands this past Thursday when he invalidated Florida's traditional marriage amendment to the state's constitution.

The amendment defining marriage as only between one man and one woman was overwhelmingly passed by a voter referendum in 2008 by a 62-38 margin.

Despite state law, Monroe County, which mainly consists of the Florida Keys, will soon begin recognizing homosexual "marriages."

Judge Garcia's ruling is yet another example of widespread judicial activism since the Supreme Court gutted the Defense of Marriage Act last year.

While the Homosexual Lobby continues to struggle with defeat in the legislative process, unelected judges are cutting voters out of the loop and decreeing liberal dogma as law of the land.

Mainstream media outlets continue to plaster the airwaves with a deluge of pro-homosexual propaganda claiming "victory" in hopes of discouraging pro-Family supporters.

But I'm going to let you in on a secret:

Since 1998, voters in 32 states have overwhelmingly voted for traditional marriage as the law of their state.

The majority of Americans have unequivocally voiced their support for pro-Family marriage time and again.

Needless to say, the ultra-liberal media has no problem with distorting and ignoring this simple fact.

And unelected judges have unabashedly forced the Homosexual Lobby's policy preferences upon us.

But with your help, Public Advocate has a plan to protect the legal foundation of traditional marriage.

To win, Public Advocate must mobilize every traditional Family supporter we can reach to pass the State Marriage Defense Act.

I'm confident there are millions of pro-Family Americans itching to take action.

And I need you to be one of them.

Together, we can stop the assault on traditional marriage.

For the Family,

President, Public Advocate of the U.S.

P.S. Since the Supreme Court gutted the Defense of Marriage Act, liberal activist judges are rampantly striking down traditional marriage in state after state.

That's why it's vital you sign your Citizen's Co-Sponsor Pledge and go on record 100% in favor of the State Marriage Defense Act.
